The St. Joseph Christian College London has held its 2021 Graduation ceremony for 43 graduands where six students bagged Certificate Awards in Ministerial Studies and 37 bagged Diploma Awards in Ministerial Studies.

The ceremony had two sets of graduands. The 2019 set who were meant to have their graduation ceremony last year but couldn’t have it due to COVID-19 were made to join the 2020 set for this year’s graduation.

In his welcome address, the Regional Superintendent of Anosike Region, Pastor Jacob Olalere gave thanks to God for the privilege and grace to have the ceremony this year.

He thanked the President of the mission Pastor S. O. Oladele for gracing the occasion and the Staff members of the college for the great work they are doing in keeping the flag of the college flying.

Pastor Olalere while congratulating the graduating students, encouraged them to pursue the purpose of their callings with diligence and commitment so as to receive the reward of their stewardship.

The graduation message was delivered by Pastor (Dr) Gideon Bakere, a faculty member of the college. He spoke on the theme of this year’s graduation; “Loving and Serving God with All Your Mind”.

Quoting from Matthew 22:37, he admonished the graduands and all present at the occasion to love God with all of their minds asking them to go out there to defend the truth of Christianity in this post-modern and post Christian Britain and to apply all they have learnt in the college and make good use of them.

He encouraged them to keep learning as learning is “from the womb to the tomb”. Awards were conferred on the graduating students by the President who later prayed for them.
